The experienced Elite Carpet Dry Cleaning professionals can make light work of the majority of stains and trampled in dirt, not to mention those pesky odours that seem impossible to remove – despite the mountains of air freshener and carpet deodoriser you use.
While it may look easy, the truth is we have a secret weapon in our arsenal. In the battle to remove stains, we use our very own multipurpose cleaning product, Super Spotta, to ensure the best results time after time.
Super Spotta is a general purpose spot and surface cleaner and stain remover that can be used to clean up any accidents, spills, walked in dirt and the like, in between professional cleans.
Unique PH-Neutral cleaning formulation
The unique formulation means we can use the product on a range of different surfaces with safe and consistent results. Surfaces such as carpets, drapes, upholstery, clothing, woodwork, tiles, sinks, painted walls, appliances, auto interiors and vinyl can be safely cleaned with Super Spotta.
Our product is not available in the supermarket aisle, but if you ask your Elite Carpet Dry Cleaning technician for a bottle when you are getting your carpets, rugs or couches cleaned – they will be more than happy to supply you with your very own secret weapon.
Super Spotta for difficult to remove stains
As with all cleaning fluids, we recommend testing the product in an inconspicuous area to ensure colourfastness and to confirm that the product is safe to use on the intended fabric. Spray a small amount directly onto a hidden area of the material and wait for ten minutes, and then blot with a clean damp white cloth. If no colouring transfers from the fabric onto the cloth, then the solution is safe to use.
To use Super Spotta, firstly give the bottle a good shake to mix the ingredients together. Next, spray a small amount directly onto the stained area, work it gently into the stain and leave for one to two minutes. Then you will need to use a warm, damp white cloth to gently blot or wipe the area clean. Rinse the area with some clean water and blot up any remaining moisture. If the stain remains, repeat the process – generally a second or third application will do the trick, particularly for older stains.
Steve Armour, Elite franchisee for Logan and Brisbane Southside has seen some impressive results. One of Steve’s regular clients uses Super Spotta to clean her artificial flowers, keeping them bright and new, just like the day she bought them.
“One of the reasons Supa Spotta is so good as a general purpose cleaner is that it is pH neutral, so it generally will not take the colour out of fabric. My wife managed to get green ink all over a new blouse and didn’t have a chance to do anything about it until she got home six hours later. She sprayed Supa Spotta on the ink stains and put the blouse straight in the wash, and it came out with no trace of the ink at all.” says Steve. “It’s also a real money saver. It can clean so many different surfaces and fabrics, so you only need the one bottle of cleaning fluid, not a whole cupboard full.”
