The Elite National Conference

As we mentioned in the previous article (Kerrie Spindler announced as Elite Franchisee of the Year) Elite held its national conference in May at The Watermark Hotel on the Gold Coast. We had a huge turnout for the conference, with franchisees coming along from as far away as Perth.

The conference was an opportunity for franchisees to catch up with each other, but also a chance for the company to explain some new innovations being rolled out across the group to make life easier for franchisees and, more importantly, Elite customers.

One of these is the Elite Customer Hub, a new system designed to help our franchisees keep in closer contact with their – and our – customers, by streamlining the enquiry process. The idea received a favourable response and was enthusiastically supported by all who attended.

The conference is also our chance every two years to recognise our hardworking franchisees. This year the following operators walked away with all the awards:

Franchisee of the Year
Kerrie Spindler, from Gosford NSW

High Achievement Award
David & Lenore Lowry, from Mackay QLD

High Achievement Award
Gary & Sue Pracy, from Camden NSW (franchisees since Elite began in 1984)
“It was great to see some new faces and great to see those more well known faces. A conference with some positives that will hopefully bear fruit in the future.” said Gary.

Encouragement Award
Kris & Natasha Van Bibber, from Northern Rivers NSW
Kris said “The conference went really well. Being new it was great to network and learn the technical side of the business from the other franchisees.”

Best New Franchisee
Peter & Sharen Bonnily, from Pine Rivers QLD
“I definitely got a lot out of the conference, enjoyed talking to the fellow franchisees and gathered many ideas for the future.” said Peter.

“The national conference was a great opportunity for all of the company to meet up, swap stories and generally just get to know each other a bit better.” said Elite Managing Director Rob Lovett. “We heard some great ideas and innovations from several of our franchisees, and we were delighted also to recognise some of our very hardworking and dedicated ones in our awards program. Joining Elite is like being part of a family – and it’s great to see everyone come together having fun and sharing ideas”
