Pressure washing clears the mould, algae and built-up grime that make driveways, paths and decks look tired and turn slippery after rain. Hard surfaces get a high-pressure clean. House walls, painted surfaces and roofs get a low-pressure soft wash, so the dirt comes off and the finish stays on.
People book it to tidy a home before it goes on the market or to a new tenant, to make a path safe to walk on again, or because the outside of the house has quietly turned green.
“We had a pipe burst in our ceiling, water seeped into our walls and our unit was at a very high risk for mould :( Guosheng worked tirelessly to ensure the drying process went as smooth as possible, even working until the evening on a Friday to ensure our walls would be dry and safe over the weekend! An extremely proficient and productive company that thrives on providing excellent service and quality work. Thank you so much for all of your help! <3”
“Guosheng from Elite Restoration did an amazing job dealing with the water damage to my unit, due to a burst pipe. Nothing was too hard and Guosheng had multiple tricks up his sleeve to ensure maximum drying capacity. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent, which made this very stressful situation for me a lot easier to handle. Thanks so much Guosheng.☺️”
High pressure or soft wash: it depends on the surface
The mistake most people make with a hardware-store machine is using one setting for everything. A jet strong enough to lift oil stains from a concrete driveway will strip paint, scar timber and push water in behind cladding.
So the method follows the surface:
Concrete driveways, paths, pavers and hard paving take high pressure well.
Decks and timber need a lower setting, worked with the grain.
Rendered and painted walls, eaves and roofs get a soft wash: low pressure, with the cleaning solution doing the work.
Commercial surfaces such as entries, car parks and bin areas are scoped to the site.
Getting this wrong is expensive. Etched concrete stays etched, and render that has taken on water can blister later.
What happens on the day
The quote sets out which surfaces are included, roughly how many square metres, and which method each one needs.
Before starting, plants, windows, doors and outdoor fittings near the work are covered or moved.
Each area is cleaned in turn, working from the top down so dirty water doesn’t run over finished ground.
Everything is rinsed off, and we walk the job with you before we pack up.
What it costs
High pressure cleaning starts from $2.50 per square metre, or $165 per hour where a job is easier to price by time. The quote confirms which applies before any work begins.
Who does the work
Every technician is police-checked and fully insured, and the work carries a satisfaction guarantee. The business holds $20 million in public and products liability cover and is CM3 certified, which matters to strata and commercial clients who need contractors prequalified. The Elite brand has been operating since 1984, from a head office in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.
Pressure washing questions
Will pressure washing damage my paint or render?
It can, if high pressure is used on it. That is why painted and rendered walls get a low-pressure soft wash instead.
How often should a driveway be cleaned?
It depends on shade, trees and how wet the area stays. Most driveways show it when they need it: dark patches, green edges, or a surface that feels slick underfoot.
How is the price worked out?
By the square metre for most hard surfaces, from $2.50, or by the hour at $165 when the job is spread out or mixed. You get the price before we start.
