How Professional Grout Cleaning Works
Mopping pushes dirty water INTO grout — that's why the lines darken over time no matter how often the floor is washed. Our process runs the other way: alkaline pre-treatment to break the soil, mechanical agitation along every line, then high-pressure hot-water extraction that lifts the residue out of the pores and recovers it. The difference is visible line by line.
What We Clean
- Floor tiles and grout — kitchens, hallways and living areas: porcelain, ceramic and most natural stone.
- Showers and bathrooms — soap scum, body fats and mould staining stripped from walls, floors and niches.
- Splashbacks and laundries — grease film and detergent residue lifted without scratching the glaze.
- Commercial floors — foyers, amenities and food areas on programmed schedules, documented for managers.
Sealing — Keep It Clean Longer
Freshly cleaned grout is open-pored and drinks the next spill. A penetrating sealer applied after the clean buys years of easier maintenance, and grout colour sealing can take tired lines back to a uniform colour — often cheaper than regrouting and dramatically faster.
When Cleaning Isn't Enough
Cracked, crumbling or missing grout is a repair job, not a cleaning job — we'll tell you honestly when a shower needs regrouting rather than another clean, and quote accordingly.
