Why this is not a normal clean
Bodily fluids can carry disease. They soak into carpet, underlay, mattresses, plasterboard and the gaps in flooring, usually further than the visible stain, and that is the source of any lingering odour. Making the space safe means removing affected materials and then cleaning and disinfecting what remains, with protective equipment throughout.
It is also not something a family member should be left to do.
What happens
- A first conversation about what has happened and what you need, without pressure.
- A discreet arrival and an assessment of the affected areas, followed by a scope.
- Removal of contaminated materials and of belongings that can’t be saved, disposed of as biohazard waste.
- Cleaning and disinfection of every affected surface.
- Odour treatment at the source.
- The property handed back, ready to be used, repaired or sold.
