When to Test

  • Before renovation or demolition — any home built " "or renovated before 1990 can contain asbestos, and disturbing it unknowingly is the worst-case scenario.
  • Pre-purchase — know before you settle, not after.
  • Suspect materials — fibro sheeting, vinyl tiles, textured ceilings, fence capping, pipe lagging.
  • After damage — storm, fire or impact damage to suspected asbestos materials.

  • NATA-accredited laboratory analysis.
  • A written report identifying each sampled material, its condition and the recommended action.
  • Air monitoring during and after removal works.
  • Clearance certificates — the independent inspection that lets reoccupation happen lawfully after removal.

An asbestos assessor who profits from the removal has an opinion, not a finding. We quote testing and removal separately so the report stands on the lab result — and you can take it to any contractor you choose.
