The stages
- A private first visit to understand the home and any deadline, such as an inspection.
- An agreed plan for each stage of the work.
- Sorting, with keepsakes, documents and valuables kept.
- Removal and responsible disposal of what is not being kept.
- Safe handling of hazards such as waste, mould and sharps, then cleaning and sanitising.
- Odour treatment and restoration, including carpet and upholstery cleaning where it can be saved.
What stands behind the work
Elite is an IICRC Certified Firm (70100265), certified in S520 mould remediation and S100 carpet cleaning, which covers two of the problems these homes most often have, and its technicians hold IICRC certification in applied microbial remediation. Where there is building damage covered by insurance, Elite liaises directly with the insurer. Details are shared only with the people you choose.
Technicians are police-checked and fully insured, with $20 million in public and products liability cover, and every job carries a satisfaction guarantee. The business is CM3 certified for contractor OH&S and compliance, and the Elite brand has been operating since 1984.
