Step by step on an Albany Creek job

Carpet Cleaning in Albany Creek: Step by step on an Albany Creek job

The technician starts by checking the carpet. A wool carpet in an older home near Bunyaville Conservation Park and a synthetic loop pile in a newer house in Warner need different handling, and a heavily soiled hand-back of a rental is a bigger job than a tidy spare room.

  1. Dry vacuum, so grit comes out dry rather than turning to mud.
  2. Pre-spray and agitation into the pile.
  3. Hot water extraction to rinse the fibres and pull the water back out.
  4. Spot treatment on anything the main pass leaves behind.
  5. A final pass so the carpet is left as dry as the machine allows.

Carpet that shouldn’t be wet gets a low-moisture method instead, and you’re told which before the job starts. The brand holds IICRC S100 certification for carpet cleaning.

Prices for Albany Creek homes

From-prices, with a minimum job total possible on small jobs:

  • Bedroom: $88 per room
  • Small hall, up to 3 m: $44
  • Stairs: $6 per stair, landings $12 each
  • Small walk-in robe: $22
  • Special stain removal: $45 per 15 minutes
  • Elite carpet protection: $6 per sqm
  • Small rugs: $44 each

A two-storey home in Eatons Hill or Bridgeman Downs adds stairs and a landing, which is why they’re priced per step rather than per floor. The room count and the number of stains needing extra time are the other two things that move the total. Commercial carpet, say a tenancy near the Leisure Centre, is $88 per room up to 16 sqm or $5 per sqm beyond that.

Our nearest branch is the Brisbane head office in Acacia Ridge, 27.5 km away.

Guaranteed, insured, police-checked

If anything isn’t right when the technician leaves, say so and we’ll put it right. That’s the satisfaction guarantee on every job. The technicians are police-checked and fully insured, and the business carries $20 million in public and products liability cover.

Questions from Albany Creek customers

Carpet Cleaning in Albany Creek: Questions from Albany Creek customers

How long until I can walk on it?

The technician checks the carpet and the conditions and tells you on the day. Anyone who quotes a time before seeing the carpet is guessing.

Steam clean or dry clean?

Hot water extraction suits a soiled carpet because it rinses. A low-moisture clean suits carpet that can’t take water or a room that has to be back in use fast. The technician recommends one after looking.

What changes the price?

Room count, stains needing the 15-minute treatment, and stairs or landings. Everything is a from-price, so you know the floor before anyone arrives.

Will the agent accept it at the end of a lease?

Most agents want every carpeted room done, halls and stairs included. The invoice lists each room, so keep it for the hand-back.

Should I vacuum or move furniture first?

Clearing small items off the floor helps. The dry vacuum is part of the job, so you don’t need to do it beforehand.
