Hi! 👋 How can we help today?

What a mountains carpet clean involves

Carpet Cleaning in Blue Mountains: What a mountains carpet clean involves

The technician looks first. A wool carpet in a heritage cottage in Leura wants different handling from a synthetic one in a Springwood rental, and a holiday let near Scenic World Katoomba that’s had a season of boots through it is a different job again.

  • Dry vacuum to lift the grit before anything gets wet.
  • Pre-spray and agitation to work the solution into the pile.
  • Hot water extraction to rinse the fibres and pull the water back out.
  • Spot and stain treatment on what’s left.
  • A drying pass, which is the step we don’t rush up here.

A carpet that shouldn’t be wet gets a low-moisture clean instead, and the technician says which before starting. The brand holds IICRC S100 certification for carpet cleaning.

From-prices for the Blue Mountains

A minimum job total may apply on small jobs. Otherwise:

  • Bedroom, $88 per room
  • Small hall up to 3 m, $44 each
  • Staircase landing $12 each, stairs $6 per stair
  • Small walk-in robe, $22 each

Commercial carpet, for a guesthouse in Blackheath or an office in Lithgow, is $88 per room up to 16 sqm and $5 per sqm beyond that. What moves the total is the room count, how many stains need extra time, and access. Mountain homes on sloping blocks often have internal stairs, and those are priced per step.

Rentals, holiday lets and hand-backs

A good share of mountains work is a property being handed back. Agents in Katoomba and Springwood expect every carpeted room done, halls and stairs included, so tell us the room count and whether there are stairs when you book. Holiday lets near Scenic World Katoomba tend to need the clean between guests, and we’ll work the booking around the changeover. Keep the invoice, which lists each room cleaned.

Where the crew goes

Carpet Cleaning in Blue Mountains: Where the crew goes

This page covers Katoomba, Leura, Springwood, Blackheath and Lithgow. That takes in the villages around the Three Sisters at Echo Point and the cool-climate townships along the highway, out to the Lithgow Zig Zag Railway and the turn-off to Jenolan Caves. Bookings across that whole stretch come with police-checked, fully insured technicians and a satisfaction guarantee on the work.

Before you book in the mountains

Is there a travel charge for Lithgow or Blackheath?

The from-prices on this page are the same for every village it covers, from Springwood up to Lithgow. Mountain jobs are planned as a run, so it helps to book a few days ahead rather than the day before.

Does a bond clean need every room done?

Usually, yes. Agents expect each carpeted room, the halls and the stairs. Count the bedrooms, note any walk-in robes at $22 each, and count the stairs, which are $6 per stair with landings at $12 each, and the quote will hold.

What about curtains and the couch?

Drapes can be done at $30 per metre for half length, and a fabric lounge is $88 per seat, both on the same visit as the carpet. Cottage holiday lets often get the lot done between seasons.
