Carpet Cleaning in Fortitude Valley: The clean, start to finish

Every job opens with an inspection. Most Valley apartments have synthetic carpet, which takes hot water extraction well. Wool, or a carpet that can’t be wet for building reasons, gets a low-moisture method instead. A heavily soiled end-of-lease carpet in Bowen Hills or Herston gets longer on the pre-spray than a lightly used bedroom.

After that it’s a dry vacuum, pre-spray and agitation, extraction to rinse and pull the water out, spot treatment on anything stubborn, and a drying pass. The brand is IICRC certified in S100 carpet cleaning and works to the relevant Australian Standards.

Reviews from carpet and upholstery jobs

Sue Flaxman wrote on Google: “Colin did a great job cleaning our carpets and was punctual, courteous and thorough. Will have him back anytime. Thanks again.”

And from Mark Briggs: “Quick, reliable and efficient, very knowledgeable staff I found that no Job is to big or small, very professional service highly recommend”

Valley questions

How long until it’s dry?

The technician tells you on the day. It changes with the carpet and the weather.

Steam or dry?

Hot water extraction suits most apartment carpet. Low-moisture suits wool or a room that must be back in use fast. The technician picks after inspecting.

How often?

Yearly for most units, more often with pets, allergies or heavy traffic.

Will the agent accept it at hand-back?

A professional clean of every carpeted room with an itemised invoice is what agents generally want. Keep the invoice.

Do I move furniture or vacuum first?

Clear what you can. The technician does a dry vacuum as the first step regardless.

Safe for kids and pets?

The solution is rinsed out during extraction. Keep them off the carpet until the technician says it’s dry.
