Hi! 👋 How can we help today?

What the technician does

Carpet Cleaning in Manly: What the technician does

First, an inspection. Wool, synthetic and blends are handled differently, and a family home that’s been through a boating season is a bigger job than a lightly used unit. The technician also picks the method here: hot water extraction for a soiled carpet that needs rinsing, or a low-moisture clean for a carpet that can’t take water or a room that has to be back in use quickly.

  • Dry vacuum to lift sand and grit.
  • Pre-spray and agitation so the solution reaches the base of the pile.
  • Hot water extraction, which rinses and recovers the water.
  • Spot treatment on whatever remains.
  • A drying pass to finish.

You’re told which method is being used before the clean starts, and why. Spot treatment on set-in marks is charged in 15-minute blocks, and the technician will say plainly if a stain has dyed the fibre and won’t lift. The brand holds IICRC S100 certification for carpet cleaning and works to the relevant Australian Standards.

Manly carpet questions

Carpet Cleaning in Manly: Manly carpet questions

What does a bedroom cost?

Bedrooms are $88 per room. A small hall up to 3 m is $44, a small walk-in robe is $22, stairs are $6 per stair and landings $12 each. These are from-prices, and a minimum job total may apply on a very small job.

Can you treat a stain that's been there a while?

Special stain removal is $45 per 15 minutes, on top of the room price. Elite carpet protection at $6 per sqm can be applied afterwards to help the carpet resist the next spill from the cafe strip takeaway.

Do you do the clubs and cafes along the harbour?

Commercial carpet is $88 per room up to 16 sqm, or $5 per sqm for larger areas. Elite is CM3 certified, and the same police-checked, fully insured technicians do the commercial work as the homes.
