  1. Look and test. A technician inspects the surface and what is on it, then cleans a patch so you can judge the finish before the quote.
  2. Screen it off. The beam can harm unprotected eyes, so the work zone is screened and closed to passers-by and staff, with the lifted material drawn away as it comes off. In a laneway or a working factory, that means a closed patch rather than a closed site.
  3. Clean in passes. The operator works the surface layer by layer, setting the beam for paint, rust or soot, with nothing dismantled.
  4. Check together. You walk the finished surface with the technician, ready for paint, sealer, a weld or nothing at all.

What surfaces can be laser cleaned?
