Carpet Cleaning in Northern Rivers: The clean, step by step

The technician inspects the carpet first. A wool carpet in a Mullumbimby cottage, a synthetic one in a Ballina unit and a heavily soiled hand-back in Casino each get handled differently. Then:

  1. Dry vacuum to lift loose grit.
  2. Pre-spray and agitation to work the solution into the pile.
  3. Hot water extraction to rinse the fibres and pull the dirty water out.
  4. Spot treatment on what the main pass leaves.
  5. A drying pass to finish.

Where a wet clean isn’t right, a low-moisture method is used instead. The brand holds IICRC S100 certification for carpet cleaning.

From-prices are $88 per bedroom, $44 for a small hall up to 3 m, $6 per stair and $12 per landing, and $22 for a small walk-in robe. Commercial carpet is $88 per room up to 16 sqm and $5 per sqm beyond. Minimum job totals may apply.

How long does the carpet take to dry?

Do pet urine and old stains come out?

Will it pass an end-of-lease inspection?

A professional clean of every carpeted room is what agents ask for. Keep the invoice, which lists the rooms done.

Do I need to vacuum or move furniture?

Vacuuming is our first step. Shifting small furniture out beforehand makes the job quicker.

Is it safe for kids, pets and allergy sufferers?

The carpet is rinsed during extraction, so no solution is left sitting in the pile. Keep everyone off it until the technician says it’s dry.
