The carpet gets looked at before it gets wet. A wool carpet in one of the older houses near Queens Park, a synthetic one in a Highfields rental that has to pass inspection, and a hall that’s had a decade of school shoes are not the same job, and the method is matched to the carpet rather than sold to you.

  1. Dry vacuum to take the grit out first.
  2. Pre-spray and agitation so the solution works into the pile.
  3. Hot water extraction to rinse the fibres and draw the dirty water straight back out.

  5. Drying, with the pile reset in one direction so it wears evenly.

Where a carpet shouldn’t take water, a low-moisture method is used instead. The brand holds IICRC S100 certification for carpet cleaning and works to the relevant Australian Standards.

What does it cost per room?

Bedrooms are $88 per room, a small hall up to 3 m is $44, stairs are $6 each with landings $12, and a small walk-in robe is $22. A minimum job total may apply on small jobs. The total moves with the room count, how many stains need extra time, and access, because stairs are priced per step. Commercial carpet near the Cobb+Co Museum precinct or anywhere in town is $88 per room up to 16 sqm, then $5 per sqm.

What does the agent expect at end of lease?

Every carpeted room professionally cleaned, halls and stairs included, with an invoice that lists each one. Keep it for the exit inspection.

Do I need to vacuum or move furniture first?

A quick vacuum helps but the technician does a proper dry vacuum anyway. Move small items and anything fragile. Beds and lounges can usually stay where they are and the carpet is cleaned around them, or ask when booking if you’d like them shifted.
