Step by step through a Werribee clean

Carpet Cleaning in Werribee: Step by step through a Werribee clean

Look before we touch it

The technician checks the fibre, how worn the traffic lanes are, and any stains you’ve pointed out. That decides the method.

Dry vacuum and pre-spray

Loose grit and hair come out first. A pre-spray is then agitated into the pile to break down oily soil.

Extraction or a dry method

Hot water extraction rinses and recovers in the same pass. Where a carpet shouldn’t be soaked, a low-moisture method is used instead.

Spots and a final pass

Remaining marks are treated one by one, and a slow final pass lifts out as much moisture as possible.

Matching the method to the carpet

Wool gets wool-safe products and controlled heat. Synthetic usually gets extraction, which gives the deepest rinse. Heavily soiled carpet needs extra agitation and possibly a second pass. For a rental hand-back, tell us it’s a bond clean so the technician knows what the agent will check.

Our nearest branch is the Melbourne branch in Thomastown, 38.7 km away. The brand holds IICRC S100 certification for carpet cleaning, and Elite has been CM3 certified for contractor compliance.

Werribee carpet questions

How long does it take to dry?

It depends on the carpet, the airflow and the weather. Open windows and fans speed it up, and keeping foot traffic off helps it dry evenly.

Steam cleaning or dry cleaning?

Steam cleaning, which means hot water extraction, is the deeper clean for most synthetics. Dry cleaning suits moisture-sensitive carpet.

What does it cost?

From $88 per bedroom, $44 for a small hall, $6 per stair and $22 for a small walk-in robe. Commercial carpet is $88 per room to 16 sqm and $5 per sqm beyond. Room count, stain time at $45 per 15 minutes and access change the total, and minimum job totals may apply.

Can you do the lounge and rugs on the same visit?

Yes. Small rugs are $44 each and a fabric lounge suite is $88 per seat, so it often makes sense to book them alongside the carpet. Elite carpet protection, at $6 per sqm, can go down after the clean if you want a bit of help against future spills.
