Canberra keeps two kinds of work coming our way. There’s routine cleaning for carpets, couches and mattresses, and there’s mould, which turned up in recent jobs from Evatt to Kambah.
We cover the national capital from Canberra City and Braddon out to the town centres, with Parliament House and Lake Burley Griffin in the middle of it all.
“We had a pipe burst in our ceiling, water seeped into our walls and our unit was at a very high risk for mould :( Guosheng worked tirelessly to ensure the drying process went as smooth as possible, even working until the evening on a Friday to ensure our walls would be dry and safe over the weekend! An extremely proficient and productive company that thrives on providing excellent service and quality work. Thank you so much for all of your help! <3”
“Guosheng from Elite Restoration did an amazing job dealing with the water damage to my unit, due to a burst pipe. Nothing was too hard and Guosheng had multiple tricks up his sleeve to ensure maximum drying capacity. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent, which made this very stressful situation for me a lot easier to handle. Thanks so much Guosheng.☺️”
Three cleaning services are available in Canberra: Carpet Cleaning, Couch & Upholstery Cleaning and Mattress Cleaning. Carpet Cleaning is carried out in line with IICRC S100.
Sue Flaxman’s Google review is about our carpet work: “Colin did a great job cleaning our carpets and was punctual, courteous and thorough. Will have him back anytime.”
Mould in Canberra homes
Two July 2026 jobs give a feel for it. In Evatt we carried out a mould inspection. In Kambah, an unexplained mould odour in a bathroom needed inspecting.
Mould Inspection & Testing and Mould Removal & Remediation are both on offer, with remediation in line with IICRC S520. Air Quality Testing sits alongside them.
Water, fire and the rest
Water Damage Restoration, in line with IICRC S500, with Water Leak Detection, Structural Drying and Dehumidifier Hire.
Fire & Smoke Restoration, in line with IICRC S700.
Lead Paint Removal, Laser Cleaning, Dry Ice Blasting and Graffiti Removal.
Trauma & Crime Scene Cleaning, Deceased Estate Clearing, Hoarding & Squalor Cleaning, and Meth Testing & Decontamination.
We’ve also had jobs at a unit in O’Connor and a property in Ainslie this September.
Across the districts
Belconnen and Gungahlin in the north, Woden and Tuggeranong in the south, and the inner suburbs of Braddon, Dickson, Kingston and Manuka are all on our list. So is Phillip, and so is Canberra City itself.
Near the Australian War Memorial or the National Gallery of Australia, or out in the newer suburbs, the service list is the same.
The credentials, in writing
If you need the paperwork before anyone comes on site, here it is. Elite is CM3 certified, the independent contractor OH&S and compliance prequalification, and an IICRC Certified Firm. We belong to the IICRC, the Restoration Industry Association, the Franchise Council of Australia and the Facility Management Association of Australia.
We carry $20 million in public and products liability cover, and every technician is police-checked and fully insured. Tell us the suburb and the job, and we’ll come back with a quote.
